ENTERING HORSES:

1. Type ONLY the horse’s name in the horse name field.

a. If a horse is registered, the registration number should also be entered.

b. If the sale horse is a registered Quarter Horse, click “Find (AQHA Only)”

i. The program will find the registered Quarter Horse and complete the rest of the horse’s pedigree information for you.

1. If the program can’t find that name and matching number in the AQHA database, it will tell you.

2. If a horse is a Paint, Appaloosa, or grade (unregistered), type only its name in the horse name field, then choose the correct Breed from the choices below.

3. If a horse is a Quarter Horse or Paint but has not been reqistered yet:

a. If registration has been applied for, type Pending/Dam’s Name in the horse name field.

i. If you have two out of the same dam, use Pending A/Dam’s Name and Pending B/Dam’s Name

b. If registration has NOT been applied for, type Unnamed/Dam’s Name in the horse name field.

i. If you have two out of the same dam, use Unnamed A/Dam’s Name and Unnamed B/Dam’s Name

c. If it is a Quarter Horse, click the AQHA Foal Not Registered Yet box.

4. If a horse is double-registered AQHA/APHA, enter the Quarter Horse name and number.
