NOTES: “Scotch” is a flashy buttermilk buckskin with four white matching stockings and a blaze face that we have raised from a yearling. We are proud to offer this beautiful gelding, he is very gentle, rides great both in the arena and out on the trails, and we know everything there is to possibly know about him. We have done every ounce of the riding from starting him as a two year old until now. Scotch has a great handle, moves off leg pressure, rides off your seat, neck reins, has a smooth jog trot, and loves to stop. He is athletic when asked but is totally content cruising down the trails. We have hauled him to county parks around IA and MN, he crosses water, wooden bridges, and downfall, doesn’t mind if he’s first or last in the group, and stands tied at the hitching rail overnight without a fuss. Scotch is great with tarps, flags, ropes, the big bouncy ball, and anything else you want to throw at him. He is built to last a lifetime with his impeccable conformation, heavy bone, and big solid feet. His half-brother Soda sold in last year’s Five Star auction and was third high seller.
