NOTES: Faben is a 14 year old 15 hand gelding that was previously used for Hunter Jumper competitions and then moved to children’s lessons before coming to our farm. He has excellent ground manners, lifting his own feet to be picked upon request, no fidgeting while children groom him, etc. Our toddlers have loved riding him and he’s been a fan favorite at family gatherings for kiddie rides. Having come from a very controlled environment in a lessons stable, he was unsure of other species when he first came to us, but has now acclimated and remains perfectly unfazed by cows, pigs, flapping chickens, barking dogs, and any little animals running around under his feet. An easy keeper, he is unshod and takes grain only on days we exercise him hard. A great family horse!
