NOTES: When you picture what a cowboy rides, in my mind it’s Mater. This gelding portrays what the American Quarter Horse should look like. Standing 15.3HH and built like an army tank, this gelding is the real deal. Plus he’s America’s favorite color, BLUE ROAN! If you are the kind of person that likes it all in one package, Mater is your guy! He is the horse you grab when you need “Mr. Reliable” for the day and he is also the horse you grab when grandma or the kids want something to ride. He is the whole package! Nothing rattles him, he is solid as a rock in every situation. We have used him to break and flag colts and he makes your job easy as he stays so relaxed. He gives the colts great confidence! One of my favorite things about Mater is you can leave him off for months and catch him up and he will ride off like he never had a day off. He is a gentleman in every aspect from hauling, shoeing, and gets along with other horses. I am only the 2nd owner he has had and he has always had the best care.
