NOTES: Check out Rocky. If you're looking for a good solid ranch gelding that would be an ideal ranch rider with good bone and built to last then check out Rocky! Rocky is a coming 9 year old Registered AQHA chestnut gelding that stands 15.2 hands and is very well broke to ride in and out of the arena, with lot of riding in pasture and big open country, he's seen many miles on trails and will cross any logs, creeks and been in very rough terrain, also does very well on busy highways and very good with traffic. Rocky has many hours of training in the arena as well where he has a one hand neckrein, knows all legs cues, he's very soft and supple in his body parts and soft in the bridle and will pick up with ease, he lopes pretty circles both ways, side passes, pivots, open/closes gates, good with tarps and bullwhip, will also drag logs. Rocky has 3 very smooth gates walk, trot, canter and does the extended trot and pole trotting very well making him a ideal ranch rider if someone is looking to do some ranch trails for weekend shows. A solid ranch horse to go check cattle or fences on week days, he's been around many of cattle and also roped and dragged a few. Rocky is very fun to ride out on open country to do ranch chores and has a nice ground covering trot, he's been rode out after dark and does what you ask and is very gentle and easy to be around, he has also been hauled quite a bit to state parks up north on big trail rides and does great by himself or groups. He's also been to clinics as well and he travels great in trailer and loads very well. Rocky does well with the farrier and has good solid feet, he's great to be stalled or out on pasture and is easy to catch, he is up to date on his teeth and dewormer and is very healthy and has no soundness issues and always been 100% sound and healthy.
