NOTES: Sancho is an eye appealing red roan gelding, standing 14.3 and is an own son of Playboy Boonsmal who is a son of the great Peptoboonsmal, one of NCHA's leading Sire's, and out of Playboys Stormy (daughter of Freckles Playboy). Playboy Boonsmal earned over $157,000 in earnings, was the Texas Cutting Open Derby Champion. If you're looking for a gelding with a good performance record, excellent pedigree that has good bone and great trainability Sancho is your guy. One cool heel horse that has been hauled. Good in the box, and scores well, hunts the cow and corner then sets the anchor every time. This horse has had 120 days of cutting training and 180 days of rope horse training focusing on the Heel side. With the right size and slide this horse makes it easy to heel one down. Sancho has a big motor and would fit a pro in the open ropings. With plenty of rate he will easily throttle down for a roper in the lower number ropings. He leaves hard and flat you better be sitting ready! Saddle and go this guy would be handy around the ranch with his forward nature he will make a quick job out of penning cattle, rope to doctor one or simply enjoy a nice calm ride. Not much bothers him in or out of the arena we can land a filming drone right next to him without a peep of worry. Easy to shoe, your farrier will love him. Loads in and backs out of the trailer with no issues.
