NOTES: Zena is a 15 hand, 2015 AQHA Chestnut mare and was bought for a brood mare several years ago but I never tried to breed her. She was broke when I bought her and I turned out until this spring. She is willing to please and has never given me an issue. We rode her last in August, until this week when my 16 year old daughter started on her again; she jumped on her and rode off like a champ. She likes to stop and is quick to turn. She side passes, bends, knows her leads fairly well, and is lightly started on the barrels. Zena has been hauled to junior rodeos and jackpots, and is good to load, unload, eats and drinks great on the road, and stands at the trailer. Zena is smart and easily picks up on anything we ask. Our kids are older and busier, life is pulling us many directions and we don't have time for them all. Her sire is HALLMARKS SUCCESS, Son of SR HALLMARKED, $64,021 and an AQHA point-earner: Abilene Western Open Classic Reserve Champion; finalist NCHA Open Derby; 4th NCHA Open Classic/Challenge; split 4th New Mexico El Cid Open Classic; Abilene Spectacular Open Classic Co-Reserve Champion. Sire of 87 money-earners, $1,029,308, 24 AQHA point-earners, including BUDDIE HALLMARK ($109,580: split 4th NCHA Non-Pro Super Stakes), HALLALUJAH ($93,484: finalist NCHA Non-Pro Futurity), MARKED PATTIE ($87,307: NCHA World Champion Mare; NCHA Silver Award), HALLMARKS PROMISE ($59,568: split 9th Southern Non-Pro Derby), CHLOES MY AUNT ($58,975: 7th NCHA Amateur Derby), FAMOUS HALLMARK ($45,429: finalist NCHA Amateur Classic/Challenge), HALLMARKS SONITA ($42,900: 3rd Wyoming CHA Open Classic), CINDYS LAST FLOWER ($38,145: finalist NCHA Non-Pro Super Stakes), TACHITA HALL ($37,278: 3rd Idaho CHA Non-Pro Derby). Her dam is TWO EYE RED BARONESS Maternal grandsire is MR QUINCY RED, 19 AQHA points: Open Perf. ROM). Son of MR BARON RED, 341 AQHA points: AQHA World Show Superhorse; AQHA World Judged Senior Heading Reserve Champion; AQHA Champion; Superior Tie-Down Roping; Superior Heeling. Sire of 81 money-earners and earners of 7,484 AQHA points, including REDS LITTLE JOE ($20,341 and 239.5 AQHA points: AQHA World Champion Senior Heeling Horse; Superior Tie-Down Roping).
