NOTES: Homer is a striking Classic Champagne stallion with all the tools to turn heads both in and out of the show pen. As a Classic Champagne, he carries and can produce black-based foals, making him an exciting breeding prospect for the future. Homer stands 14.2 hands tall.
He is sired by Spooks Grand Slam (LTE $150,226), whose first foal crop is just reaching 3-year-old competition age. Known for passing on big maneuvers, trainability, and an exceptional mindset, Homer is proving to be a true reflection of his sire.
This kind-hearted young stallion is a pleasure to be around. He is gentle to handle, enjoys attention, and comes to work each day with a willing attitude. Homer was started in a reining program and has since transitioned into ranch horse training. He is balanced and attractive in his movement, has a smooth turnaround, a quality jog with natural extension, and enjoys stopping. His laid-back, easygoing personality makes him a horse that takes new experiences in stride without getting worked up. Homer also rides exceptionally nice outdoors down the trails and has been ridden through town.
Homer is enrolled in NRHA, NRBC, NARS, 100X, and IRHA programs, adding significant value as both a show and breeding prospect. He would be an excellent candidate for the IQHA Ranch Horse Futurity this fall, with the potential to stand to the public in the future. If stallions aren’t your preference, he also has all the makings of an exceptional gelding.
One of the things we appreciate most about Homer is his demeanor. He is stalled alongside our geldings and acts like one of the crew, never causing a fuss. Whether you’re looking for a futurity prospect, ranch horse competitor, breeding stallion, or versatile all-around partner, Homer has the talent, pedigree, and disposition to excel.
This is a quality young horse with a bright future ahead of him.
He is current on all care and sells with a current basic pre-purchase exam and soundness letter from our veterinarian.
