Hot Dog has excellent ground manners and is a pleasure to have around. He stands tied, loads and hauls quietly, bathes, and saddles with ease. His willing attitude and calm demeanor make him enjoyable both on the ground and under saddle. Under saddle, Hot Dog has smooth, comfortable gaits, a good stop, and will lope nice circles. He has been ridden by youth and has been shown successfully at local shows, taking everything in stride. On the trails, he’s confident and dependable, willingly crossing water, bridges, and logs without hesitation. He is not a spooky horse and takes new environments and obstacles in stride with a quiet, level-headed attitude. Hot Dog has also been used for therapy rides with autistic children, where his patient, gentle nature has truly shined.
