NOTES: Checkers is a 4 year old 14 hand mare. Checkers is easy to catch, good with her feet, easy to saddle, bathe, load, haul etc. She has had the time to be very desensitized, and she is going to be good with flags, tarps and ropes. Checkers can be rode inside or outside the arena. She knows her leads, and is very pleasant to ride with a big stop. Checkers has been rode on the trails, and knows how to cross logs and water. She can drag logs and isn’t going to be afraid to do some work. She has been rode by a 9 year old girl. Checkers has even been started being patterned on the poles. This is really cool little mare, with a solid foundation, good start, nice handle, a good mind and ready for someone to take her and finish. She will make a neat little junior rodeo horse, if someone has the time for her.
