NOTES: VF First Morning Sun is a 2010 AQHA Mare, was trained in performance, i.e. barrel racing, but can be ridden in pasture and has been around cattle as well. She was used in rodeo's up until 2023, where she injured her right rear leg, it is hamstrung. She has been out to pasture for the last 3 years not ridden, and is still sound enough to ride. She is suitable to ride trail, but she is not sound to ride for performance. The time off has allowed her to heal, and our vet said that trail riding is completely okay. You can see in the video about her right hind leg. She has foaled twice, and is okay for breeding. She has a great gait and is a very smooth ride. She is probably not suited for young or inexperienced riders. She is well mannered, but bell boots and saddle cinching need to be done slowly, she can sit back. Hauls and travels well. Stands 15.3.
