NOTES: Sassy is a smart, athletic mare with the heart and ability to go to work. She has been used at ranch sorting's and is my go-to mount for gathering and working cattle in the pens. She has the kind of competitive drive and “want to win” attitude that makes her stand out. Several NFR-caliber steer wrestlers have expressed interest in her because of her athletic ability. Sassy is not the kind of horse that backs away from a hard job. When there is work to be done, she wants to do it just as badly as you do. She is in the middle of the pack in the herd and has been a dependable partner for the kind of work we do on the ranch. She has been sitting this summer due to my personal injury, and I hate to see a horse with this much ability standing in the pasture. She deserves a job and someone who can use her. Stands 15 hands. Selling only because of my personal injury. Her sire is JBS KINGS PEPONITA; sire of SOLANOS KINGS (AQHA point-earner). Grandson of TALK ABOUT SMART, 39 AQHA points: AQHA World Champion Junior Cutting Horse; AQHA Reserve High Point Junior Cutting Champion; split 4th Texas Classic Junior Cutting; finalist AQHA World Senior Reining; Open Perf. ROM. Sire of 28 money-earners, 28 AQHA point-earners, including TALK ABOUT THIS ($37,790: finalist Congress Open Reining Futurity), SMART TALKIN GAL ($9,280 and 13 AQHA points: 3rd Carolina Classic Int. Open Reining Derby), DA WILD TALK ($7,370 and 218.5 AQHA points: top 10 AQHA World Amateur Heading, Superior Heading), RB SMART REMEDY ($5,385: NCHA Certificate of Ability). Her dam is RAWHIDE ROYALTY Maternal grandsire is DUNIT RAWHIDE, $78,705 and 9.5 AQHA points: split 3rd NRHA Open Futurity; NRHA Limited Open Futurity Champion; NRHA Open Super Stakes Champion; money-earner NRHA Open Derby; finalist NRHA Top 100 Lifetime.
