Quick Stop is the most honest, athletic, fancy broke, big stopping horse on the place. You can do absolutely EVERYTHING on the ranch off of him. After you get done gathering or sorting on the ranch, Quick Stop will drop his head and is cool as a cucumber. Quick Stop started his career in a very well-known cutting program. He was shown at the NCHA Futurity by his non-pro owner. He then went to the wheat fields of West Texas with one of the best horsemen in the industry. After being used outside, Quick Stop started getting hauled to town to the ranch rodeos. He’s seen the bright lights of Ft. Worth. He was used to help set the record at the Red Steagall Ranch Rodeo in the Wild Cow Milkin. Yes, he’s a super talented individual, but you don’t have to be a cowboy to enjoy him. He will meet you at the gate, stands for mounting/dismounting, has a short lope that is slower than his walk, and a disposition you wish all of them had. He has had pressure applied and has always been willing to do whatever we ask of him. He’s got tons of eye appeal and is one that you just can’t help but admire. The way he carries himself when he travels is truly beautiful. He’s extremely smooth, been rode in the canyons and is very sure footed. He will ride in a group or out alone. Quick Stop stands 15 hands and weighs 1200 lbs. Quick Stop is in the prime of his life and will be an asset to anybody’s program.
