NOTES: "Yellowstone" is a gorgeous, powerfully built golden palomino that is the perfect size at 15.1 hands and 1,200 lbs. We've owned him since he was a weanling and brought his training along steadily and correctly. No vices, no issues, 100% sound. Ties, bathes, loads, catches easily, is great on the trail or in the arena and loves to work. He's been to the mountains in Colorado trail riding and shed hunting. He has great style, a beautiful natural headset and has been used to pony colts and ridden around cattle. You can swing a rope off of him or carry a flag. Does some fun tricks such as lying down and sitting on cue. You can ride him bareback and bridle-less if you like. One of the most tolerant horses you'll ever meet and is safe around kids. We've stuck riders of all skill levels on him and he just drops his head and steps into an easy gait that's comfortable for anyone. He has a wonderful walk, an easy slow jog and a smooth lope. He knows all the maneuvers, including side pass, spin and a nice ranch riding stop. Will be shown in the reining/riding preview.
SIRE: CHEX IS MY DADDY (2002). $17,918 and 63 AQHA points: PHBA Honor Roll Amateur Working Cow Horse and Reining Champion; PHBA Honor Roll Junior Working Cow Horse and Open Reining Reserve Champion. Sire of 6 money-earners, including HOT DUN CASHIN CHEX ($11,353: finalist Congress Reining Futurity Primetime Open).
DAM: HOWDYS SALLY (2004). Full sister to EASTER ROYAL KATE (barrel money-earner). A daughter of HOW D BEE ROYAL.
