NOTES: Steak sauce is an absolutely gorgeous 14.3 hand dun gelding. With earnings in excess of 18,000 and a solid job as a ranch horse this gelding is the perfect combination of well-rounded leisure horse and show horse. In 2019 steak sauce was the A Bar Ranch Classic open Futurity reserve champion and in 2020 he was the A Bar Classic Open Futurity champion. Since then and prior to then, Steak Sauce has been used for every kind of ranch work there is. He is a solid mount in the branding pen, great doctor cattle on outside, and a favorite to ship and ride pens on at the feed yard. Steak Sauce travels smooth, he stays soft and collected, has a bug fancy stop and fun spins. He will also perform simple lead changes well. In my opinion Steak Sauce is a perfect candidate for the ranch riding or ranch versatility classes. He crosses water and other obstacles with ease. His manners and disposition reflect his ranching background making him the most perfect gentleman to be around and has a really cool fun inquisitive personality! Steak sauce has been hauled extensively and as a result nothing spooks or bothers him, he is quiet and good natured everywhere you take him. He is also started well on the heel side, and has shown plenty or promise there. This head turning gelding has the athletic ability to go in any direction you choose, whether it's performance or leisure riding, he has the mind and experience to be extremely stylish and successful!
