1 2012 Palomino G Docs Buckaroo Boy High Brows Lil Girl Peppy Pat Quixote Schmitt Horse Ranch "King" is a good looking golden palomino that the whole family will be sure to enjoy. He is very trained in the arena, knows the barrels and poles, rides english, has all of the fancy buttons to where he could be shown in ranch pleasure or western dressage. King is soft in the face and on his sides, great with his leads, smooth moving, good whoa, very collected, and is true one hand broke. He has been rode many miles down the trails and on the ranch gathering and checking cattle. He crosses all of the trail coarse obstacles, good with a rope, tarps, flags, pulls from the horn, and is handy to open and shut gates on. King has been hauled and is seasoned on the barrels, no gate or pattern issues, probably isn't going to go win the 1D but is dang sure competitive enough to be in the 3/4D. He will walk in and out of the arena flat footed, stands tied well, and is just a pleasure to be around. We believe this gelding is ideal for someone that is looking for the perfect all-around gelding. This fancy guy has a rocking chair lope, and is as soft and supple as he could possibly be. He’s a big stopper with a fancy correct handle. “Ned” has had some cattle roped on him outside and we have started roping the sled on him. He could make a head horse over night or we believe he has the movement and athletic ability to also accel as an English horse if a person wanted too. Cactus worked a feed lot in Coffeeville, KS during his younger years. Jeff started heeling on him that summer when he was 5, He has AQHA Points heeling at the Cannon Falls, MN show. Rachel started him on the barrels the following year as her futurity colt. He placed 3rd at NBHA Iowa State show in the futurity and placed her both in the Youth and Open. He competed this year in April his first BBR in Oklahoma City and just missed qualifying to the short round. Rachel won the 2D Youth Slot Race and place 3rd in the Open of the 3D in Winona, MN. then came back to win NBHA Youth 2D Showdown Finals Race and placed in the Open at NBHA Finals.
