Playa is a super sweet gentle type that is easy to get along with and has a huge heart. We've used him to doctor anything from yearlings to bulls, he is not afraid to shag one. Playa is his name and cattle is his game, has been used most of the summer at a cattle yard doing anything from penning cattle, sorting, roping and dragging calf's at a branding to dragging bucking bulls onto the trailer. Have recently started taking his raw talent in the pasture and yards into the arena setting and he is doing awesome. Will not take long to finish him out. 13 1/1/2010 Dun G Ryan Grandi 12 year old, 14 hand, grade gelding. He has a kind and gentle disposition and is fine when just walking or trail riding. Stands good for farrier, doesn't seem to want to kick or bite or any other naughty habits on the ground. However he gets hot and acts up (chargy, throws his head, side steps, lunges etc.) when trying to run or lope, therefore I am not selling him as a finished or beginner horse. I use him on the ranch to doctor cattle, track the hot heals, rope outside and jump on him out in the pasture. I have laid all over him, and he does not seem to care. He is really good about being aware of what you are doing around him. His ears are sensitive when you put the bridle on him, but other than that he is good. He will get in the water, yet I have not tried to swim him. I ride him bareback and make him do obstacles to which he is very willing. Click For Video

30 1/1/2011 Sorrel G Taylor Hall Picanté is an 11 year old, grade, 14.3 heel horse. Got a good start and ready to be finished. Very talented and easy to rope off of, but he does need rode consistently as he may buck with too much time off. After only about 100 steers he was ready to haul and has won from the 12 down in the last 8 months. He’s feed-lot raised and very cowy. Previously abused, he’s watchy on the ground and can be touchy while riding, but if you have the patience, he has the ability. The vet recently found a navicular cyst that may require maintenance in the future, but currently he rarely shows any signs of even mild discomfort. There is a scar on his left forelock. Often placed on back burner and was originally purchased to make a barrel/breakaway horse. This horse did not take to breakaway well but is patterned nicely for barrels but is by no means a finished barrel horse. Daughter went to college and is now solely roping and doesn’t have time to keep moving him fwd. This horse is not for the inexperienced rider as he is skittish and is unpredictable at times and will buck. This is a horse is sweet and good natured but very insecure and over reactive and therefore not for the average rider. He needs confidence. Travels well, stands for farrier and selling sound.
